Group Fitness – Personal Training – Massage
It’s been a busy old day today, growing networks, trying new things. I can happily announce I take my first spin class for YMCA in Invercargill on 1 April, which is exciting, then we are going to take it from there.
I am now successfully REPS registered, which is also cool, and I have a few more irons in the fire too.
Nutrition
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs & ham
Lunch: crackers and humous, apple
Dinner: meal out
Exercise: boxing fitness class & 45 mins tramping.
I am super excited about being able to start taking spin classes. I have been liaising with the YMCA gym for a while, they are planning to expand the classes they offer to include early mornings, weekend, classes targeted to certain fitness programmes, and classes for seniors. It’s all really exciting.
I have been given the opportunity to take a lunch time class in a couple of weeks ‘to break me in gently’ then we can take it from there.
In between work and my meeting I decided to go tramping up Forest Hill. I actually didn’t have a whole lot of time so it ended up being a yomp, but for the brief glimpse of the views and the beautiful smells of the bush, it was well worth it. I scaled the hill and back in 40 mins including a 5 min stop at the top – it usually takes me 1 hour!
This evening I went to visit a boxing fitness class. Even though I’m strong I still always feel it the next day, it’s a fabulous upper body workout and now I have the qualification I can look at it with a more informed view point.
Exciting times ahead.
