Berry Banana Smoothie recipe
- Frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
- 1 banana
- 3/4 cup of coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
The smoothie is yum you yum, well worth trying this one!!
Now that work is finished for the week, we are now beginning the Wanaka weekend countdown, how exciting!
Team MARBEL (Mark, Ben, Mel) are already as we will ever be, all the last long sessions are done and we start packing today, leave tomorrow for the pasta party tomorrow evening, followed by racking and relaxation for the big day on Sunday.
I still think I have the best part: I start the race off at 7am, the cyclist waits for me to collect the T1 swim bag and tag him in transition to give him the timing chip. My poor husband has the worst job, he has to wait all day long before he can start his marathon, hopefully before 5pm when the cyclist comes back in.
The forecast is hot, which doesn’t really affect me that much, apart from getting a nice tan while supporting all day long (!) waiting for the team finish and photo later in the evening. I hope it doesn’t get too hot for Mark and Ben.
Can’t wait, should be just fabulous! Cheer us on, won’t you, we are overcoming personal adversity to just get to this race and complete it!
