Group Fitness – Personal Training – Massage
Today was race day for us, team M&M, so again, nutrition up the schute for the day.
It’s been quite some time since I did any part of a triathlon so I was expecting it to be hard work!
Nutrition
Breakfast: porridge
Lunch: chicken and pasta with basil pesto. Sundae
Dinner: toasted roll & 1/2 banana
Exercise 1500m swim / 40km bike (1st 2 parts of an Olympic distance triathlon)
Race nutrition: 2x hi5 carb jels and 1x500ml carb drink
It was a hard hard day, high winds made for a very tough swim and bike, mountains also didn’t help! Tired bunny afterwards!

If I have maintained the weight at least I will be happy, but not holding my breath!
