Book review: ‘Girl without a voice’

image This is not an author that I am familiar with but the title drew me to this book.

Watson is a behaviour managed in an English Secondary school and teaches small classes of students that are withdrawn for a variety of reasons.

She predominantly focuses on a mute girl that she receives into her class, not condition she is familiar with.

He empathy and willingness to do the best for all her students, despite their difficulties is one I can relate to, and her job is similar to ones that I have done in the past. To that end I can tell you her recount is very accurate and many teachers will be able to relate to her story.

It’s an interesting journey to discovering this students difficulties, one that will leave you wanting to keep reading.

I might seek out some more of her books.

Highly recommended for teachers around the world, or anyone simply wanting to read a story of a young girl with a stressful life, that has a good ending, thanks to her teacher.
