Comparing the Hemispheres

This will be my last ‘down under’ post for a week or so, I’m off to England today. Now this will be interesting.

Here’s what I’m expecting…

  • Crowds of cars alert – a huge contrast to here!!
  • Crowds of buildings alert – much much less farmland and countryside than here.
  • Crowds of people – how will I feel having been in sleepy Southland?
  • Narrow roads – not ones you can do a U-turn anywhere in!

I am actually quite interested to see how it feels. The kiwi accent doesn’t sound strange any more – it’s just normal. Will the English one seem strange? Will the crowds in more way than one make me feel more tense? Or am I going to slip back in with ease?
