Interesting daily prompt:
Your local electronics store has just started selling time machines, anywhere doors, and invisibility helmets. You can only afford one. Which of these do you buy, and why?
I think a time machine could be potentially damaging. The past is exactly what it is: the past. If we knew the future in advance it would make life boring. My philosophy is to live for this moment.
An invisibility helmet could be useful for sure. Imagine what you could find out by being invisible, gate crashing all sorts of other conversations an events and so on, getting places for free, the possibilities are many.
But, something I think would be much more helpful is an anywhere door.
Living in New Zealand is a wonderful place to be, but let’s face it it is many miles from a lot of places. I could zip back to England for a cuppa, be there when family need me, go to see friends, coach clients all around the globe face to face like its a trip to the shops. I could see the world, without the high cost of flights and the inconvenience of jetlag. I could pop anywhere, for a day trip, I could cover the globe and see so much more. Our planet is huge yet our life is so short. An anywhere door is the way forwards, for sure!
Now, please could someone ACTUALLY invent me one?!
