There are many ways to look at things: the usual
favourites are glass half empty or glass half full.
This is a great daily prompt: In Reason to Believe, Bruce Springsteen says ‘At the end of every heard earned day / people find some reason to believe.’ What’s your reason to believe?
I was always one of those who could give you pages and pages of writing on what might have gone wrong, what I could have done better, failings, the works. This is exactly what I did when I was first introduced to NLP. I was asked to come to the session with a page of things that make the perfect race, (for me) and a page of things that might go wrong that would prevent that perfect race.
The second one was EASY! That page was crammed!! By the end of the session, I was metaphorically (and physically) made to tear it all up. It altered how I saw life from thereon in, but the event that actually changed my entire outlook on life and created my new motto (see the photo at the top) is the loss of my mother suddenly in 2013.
For this reason alone, I truly and wholeheartedly believe that we waste far too much time in life on things that do not matter. Life might be snatched from our grasp at any moment, when we least expect it. (It certainly was the case for my mother) Now is the time to
Live in the NOW. live each day as if it is all you truly have, because in fact, it is all you have. The future has not happened, and the past has already passed. Savour each and every precious moment and make sure you do not get snatched from this earth regretting a single thing.
