What is your favourite sweet thing to eat? Asks the daily prompt today. Interesting. Immediately we think cool, it has to be cakes, our favourite chocolate bar, huge sundaes, or whatever. But no sooner that I thought that, I also thought about the misery it brings afterwards, guilt, extra calories, all those other negative emotions and thoughts. Also, sweet treats tend to be associated with comfort eating, which in turn is associated with negative emotions.
Therefore, is that favourite cake or chocolate bar really my favourite sweet treat to eat? No, probably not.
I think these days, I would much prefer natural yoghurt filled with fresh fruits, specially fresh pineapple and Kiwfuit.
Oh how things change, well, for me at least!!
