Getting the good shot: shoot from the hip!

I had fun yesterday with the phoneography challenge where we were asked to take photos of the neighbourhood using just our phones. so I was really proud when I saw I had a pingback for my morning run route photo blog in the very next daily post which talks about getting on the go photos from hip or ankle level.

I decided to try the hip and ankle style photos.

Today was another run day, so early this morning I was back out running through my local park. This time, I used the ‘nofinder’ app that WordPress suggested, and had great fun! Its a great little app that has a range of effects for the photos but the beauty of this one is that it doesn’t allow you to frame the photo, you just point and shoot, and hope! You can also deliberately blur photos by moving the phone as you take the picture.

Here are today’s photos, this time through the neighbourhood as well as the park. Although a few came out a bit rubbish, there were some that looked good. I love the effects this app allows too!

Simple things make great shots sometimes.
