Weekly Photo Challenge: renewal

I googled some definitions of renewal, as I was struggling to relate this to a photograph! One of the definitions was:

An instance of resuming an activity or state after an interruption.

That immediately gave me the answer: ME!! after a HUGE period of slothfulness and overeating, I decided to get back the figure that I once had when I was younger, and set about losing the 4.5 excess stone to find the new me.

Here’s the photographic evidence.

  1. Hey, look at you go! 4.5 stone – now that’s a renewal. Congratulations, well done on both counts. 🙂

    • Good for you Melanie. I lost some weight a couple of years ago but since have put some of it back on. Good choice of the subject.

  2. A good reminder that I need to renew my relationship with my running shoes before I eat my way through the holidays …

  3. Well done! Now I’m inspired to lose weight (again!). I was able to do it before so I know I can do it again. Good luck to us, stay healthy!
